Position: Professional support, secretarial and general administration

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 depending upon experience and qualifications

Working Hours: 0900 – 1730 Monday to Friday

Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays

Main Place of work: Rayleigh SS6 9QG

Training will be provided for the more specific duties listed below but the ideal candidate will have the following skills and characteristics:

Ideal Candidate

  • Proficient and accurate typist with audio experience
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Courteous and presentable in greeting clients and other professionals
  • Expertise with Windows 10, Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel (currently version 2019)
  • Experience in the property sector
  • Proficient user of social media, such as Mailchimp, Linkedin and Twitter
  • Organised, diligent and keen to learn new skills

Job Role

You will be part of a team that supports our professional staff.  Your role will be varied and will include general administrative and secretarial duties, such as typing, taking calls, invoicing, filing and archiving. 

Specific Duties

Rent collections on behalf of our clients, including monthly invoicing, monitoring payments updating Excel spreadsheet with payments received, chasing unpaid rents, preparing invoices for utilities and contractors

  • Taking phone enquiries from prospective tenants
  • Mapping, using digital mapping systems to plot land areas
  • Data inputting on bespoke property management software
  • Ordering printed stationery
  • Organising social events
  • Updating the managing director’s diary
