Nigel graduated from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester in 1971 and subsequently gained the Diploma in Farm Business Administration at Wye College, London. He has two sons, one of whom has joined him on the family farm at Little Maplestead and the other has followed him into surveying.

Michael Hughes BSc (Hons) FRICS FAAV FNAEA

Michael is a graduate of Reading University. He became a partner of Whirledge & Nott in 1996. He is company secretary of the family farm in Colchester, chairman of the Essex Agricultural Society and president elect of the Essex Association of Agricultural Valuers. He lives in Rochford with his wife and two rugby-mad sons.

Tom Whirledge FRICS FAAV
Consultant - Margaret Roding Office

Tom has worked in Essex for over 40 years and still runs a small beef herd from his home at White Hall, Margaret Roding. Tom Whirledge works out of the Margaret Roding office in conjunction with Paul Walker.

Paul is a graduate of Harper Adams Agricultural College. Paul has lived and worked in Essex since 1998. He joined Whirledge & Nott in 2005 and now manages this office. Paul comes with a great variety of experience. He lives in Little Baddow with his wife and two children.

Kate Jennings MSc MRICS FAAV
Associate Partner - Rayleigh Office

Kate is a graduate of the University of East Anglia and the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. She joined Whirledge & Nott in 1997 and became an Associate in 2001. She provides general practice advice, heads up the Rural Planning team and is also well known for her Single Payment Scheme expertise. She lives in Chelmsford.

David Milbourn MSc MRICS FNAEA

David is a graduate of the University of Plymouth and the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. He joined Whirledge & Nott in 2000 and became an Associate in 2005. He provides general practice advice and heads up the Commercial team. He lives in Chelmsford with his wife.
